This Privacy Policy describes how Smart CV Engine ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website and services.

Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and the documents you choose to save. CV and portfolio files are parsed entirely in your browser — the contents never reach our server unless you explicitly save them. Authentication data is managed by Supabase Auth.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide the service, including storing your saved documents, generating public portfolio links (only when you choose to publish), processing subscription payments, and improving the service. We never sell your data to third parties.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in a Supabase Postgres database protected by Row Level Security — you can only access your own documents. We use HTTPS for all traffic and never store payment details (PayPal handles all transactions). Public portfolio pages are visible to anyone with the link only while you have published them.

Your Rights

You can export or delete your documents at any time from your dashboard. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at smartcvengine@gmail.com and we will process your request within 30 days.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies by default. The site owner may inject analytics scripts via the admin dashboard, in which case those scripts' privacy policies apply.
